Stop hiding yourself by Ps MJ Lishivha.
Ps MJ Lishivha. (Photo taken on 09th November 2011.)
The message was based on the book of Genesis 3:8-10 where after Adam and his wife had sinned by disobeying God’sinstruction not to eat of the fruit of the tree in the middle of the garden ofEden, hid themselves from God when they heard him walking in the garden. Quitea powerful message as it asked everyone as to where we are in terms of what Godhas set us to do. That everyone of us was set in the positions in which we arefor a purpose set by God. As elders in the church, there’s a purpose forus. As young men and women, youths, evangelists, preachers of the word, worshippers, pastors, ministers, there’s a purpose set by God for all of us. Thequestion is, are we achieving God’s purpose? Where are you in God’s work?
Everyone must ask themselves a question. Where am I? Bydoing this you’ll find yourself and stop hiding. Let us ask the HolySpirit to help us find ourselves in the work of God.
God knows where we are. He’s asking this question because He wants us to find ourselves. When we are preparing ourselves to enter into 2012, do you know where we are in God’s work. Let us refuse to enter2012 with the wrongs of 2011. Let us stop playing hide and seek with God for Heis not pleased with that.
Reference was also made to the book of 1 Samuel 18: 24-30 where the Spirit of God left king Saul and he became envious of David’ssuccess.
Glory be to the Most High.. God Hallelujah!
